For years, in France where I come from, I used to spend hours and hours reading my newspaper and studying in cafes. Either sipping a nice coffee, tea or a glass of wine, it was just so relaxing and such a great source of inspiration everytime I wanted to relax or simply write.
Here, you just have time to drink your coffee or tea and as soon as your cup is empty you have to leave the place.... I really feel frustated about it.

Really? Do the waiters or waitresses make you feel uncomfortable if your glass/cup isn't full?
I also love reading or studying or writing in cafes, I did it a lot in Germany, but here as well when i had time.
